OUR MISSION /mission statement
Helping Rebuild the Lives of Women in Need
The Doris Daniely Outreach for Breast Reconstruction was organized for the purpose of generating financial and educational resources related to breast reconstruction following a diagnosis of breast cancer. Our purpose is to provide financial assistance to women in the North Texas area and to educate the community regarding breast reconstruction. Women who have experienced breast cancer, as well as family and friends, make up the support network.
The organization is a publicly supported corporation exclusively for charitable and education purposes. We are a 501c3 non-profit agency and all donations are tax deductible. We serve the organization voluntarily, without compensation. We are grateful to our sponsors, partners and supporters who have contributed their time, talent and resources, making it possilbe for us to use the funds to help women in need.

Thank you for contacting the Doris Daniely Outreach for Breast Reconstruction. Please review our Financial Assistance Policy and Release of Liability then sign, date and have someone witness your signature and return the original copy. In addition, you will need to provide proof of gross income for your household in addition to the following items:
Current check stub (If married, we need check stubs from both) Three consecutive months of bank statements if self-employed. Copy of most recent filed tax return Notarized statement Copy of Valid Texas Drivers License Copy of Social Security Card Return the requested proof of income along with the original signed copy of our Financial Assistance Application (PDF) to: Doris Daniely Outreach for Breast Reconstruction

Doris Daniely Outreach provides information for underprivileged women in need of breast reconstruction and contributes funding to respected organizations that provide reconstructive services.
We are a volunteer service organization of people helping people. Our motivation is our compassion and empathy for those who face the trauma of radical surgery and its effects on their lives and the lives of their families. Our only resources are our volunteers, our time, our talents, and the partners who share our burden for others. The funds we raise come from the work of our hands and the generosity of our supporters and partners. At this time, there is no office, no paid staff, no electric bill, no phone bill. Our only expenses are the materials we use and the out-of-pocket costs to sell them. We do what we can, but there is a much greater need than we alone can fill.

Complete healing following mastectomy requires breast reconstruction for many women. At the age of 37 I was one of those women. I was facing the loss of both breasts and was fortunate to have had the option of breast reconstruction. I was also fortunate to have the needed financial and education resources. For me it was a quality of life and emotional issue and I couldn't imagine not having that opportunity. However, I realized that there are many breast cancer patients who face the same medical situation but do not have access to the same resources. I had such a positive experience and outcome following my reconstruction that I wanted to be sure that every woman who was a candidate medically had the same opportunity for the complete healing that can come with breast reconstruction.
